Built to be usable by everyone.
VantageOS is committed to making our website and product accessible to people with disabilities. We design and develop to the standards of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
Our standard
We target conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the U.S. Access Board's Section 508 standards, and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title III guidance for digital services. This includes:
- Sufficient color contrast (4.5:1 for body text)
- Full keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators
- Semantic HTML and ARIA labels for screen readers
- Form inputs labeled and grouped logically
- Skip-to-content links on every page
- Alternative text on images and decorative graphics marked as such
- Resizable text without loss of function
Ongoing work
Accessibility is treated as a product requirement, not a checklist. New features are reviewed against WCAG 2.1 AA before release. We run automated audits via Lighthouse and axe DevTools as part of our deployment pipeline. We are not perfect — software rarely is — but we treat accessibility issues as bugs and fix them on the same timeline as other defects.
Report an issue
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on VantageOS, please email us at accessibility@getvantageos.com with a description of the issue, the page or screen affected, and any assistive technology you were using. We aim to acknowledge within 2 business days and resolve critical issues within 10 business days.
Third-party content
Some embedded content (charts, videos, integrated tools) originates from third-party providers. We work to select vendors who share our commitment, but where third-party content does not meet our standard, please report it via the address above and we will request remediation from the provider or replace the integration.
